So here are the finished cover with some of the layouts and rough sketches. Plus I was get better as and artist so in comics a cover does grab peoples eyes and so I wanted it to be as good as I can get it.
But I believe it was last year I really wanted to update it, one because the software I was using had improved quite a bit so I would be able to make it have that old school feel more than I did back in 2019. It really was my first attempt to get myself back into comics. So the first pic is of the original cover, and the next 2 are the ones I did when I first started this comic back in 2019. It sort of in compassed everything that spidey was and I loved. I did want to do a Mcfarlane spidey cover but they have been done A LOT, so I went with the OG spidey cover. He is one of my all time inspirations I have followed him in that time religiously even if he only did the cover im buying it and studying it under a microscope. Spider-man came I to my life in comics right as Todd Mcfarlane started to draw the series. So for this one it’s more of what spidey meant to me. First off all my covers are homage’s to cover that have inspired me to be a comic book artist.
